Introduction
Dr. Onwude is a Lecturer and academic researcher. He obtained a Bachelor of Engineering, in Agricultural Engineering and Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Process Engineering. His research focus lies in modeling and simulating postharvest supply chain, digital twin of lcoal fresh produce value chains, plant growth modeling, Computational fluid dynamics and digital twining of fresh produce supply chain, imaging technology as a non-destructive quality determination approach, and drying technology.
Between the year 2016 and 2022, Dr Onwude has published over 60 journal papers (of which 31 as first or corresponding author) on drying, digital twin of postharvest supply chain, food processsing, food preservation, modelling and simulation of agricultural crops. He also has 5 book chapters and 5 intellectual properties.
